2012 Online Video Competition
Competitors must create a short sketch video, within 1 month based on the given criteria below. At the end of the month, all submitted videos will be published online along with company/group name, title of sketch, and links to your online presence.
The competition page will be up for one week. As the week progresses, videos will be ranked by popularity.
Popularity will be based on a weighted average calculated as follows: 50% view count, 20% like count, 20% comment count, and 10% favorite count. Once the week concludes, a victor is chosen, and you retain all rights to your content, and can feature your video on your own channels.
The winning video, and the company/group that created it, will be featured on the Rapid Fire Theatre website and Youtube channel for 12 months, and be awarded the grand prize of $1000!
1. Videos must be no longer than 4 minutes.
2. They must incorporate the “suggestion”. This years suggestion is the sentence “Better late than never.” [This does not need to be the central focus of your scene, or pertinent to the story, characters, etc. It simply must be said in context.]
3. Your videos must be written, shot, edited, and submitted, by March 1st; late submissions will NOT be accepted.
The competition week will commence at 12:01 AM on March 5th and end at 11:59 PM on March 11th.
