Improvaganza 2010

Improvaganza is an annual improv-based comedy festival in Edmonton, Alberta. Every year we host upwards of thirty improvisers, sketch comedians, stand-ups and musicians from across Canada, North America and beyond.

For ten days in the end June the Varscona Theatre gets programmed full of the best comedy acts we can find, plus Theatre Sports matches, musical jams, workshops with amazing artists and tons of social events too.

It is an invitational festival, but for the first time we are opening up submissions. Because if we can find other exciting, talented groups and companies that would add to our community – we want to do it! So please contact us! There is a small submission fee, but it's just to help us with the processing of the applications. We ain't trying to gouge nobody here.

Festival guests can expect a bed to sleep in while in Edmonton, some travel assistance, some meals, shows to perform, workshops to take for free, and tons of great people to meet.

A cheque made out to Rapid Fire Theatre for $25.00
A group bio as well as individual bios
Some uncut performance video of you doing your thing (15-20 mins)
Any promotional pictures or images you may have
Any reviews of your show, if you got 'em
