Gordon’s Big Bald Head reunite from the far reaches of the globe and return to the Edmonton Fringe! Their daring mission? TO IMPROVISE THEIR VERSION OF ANY OTHER SHOW AT THE FESTIVAL!
The audience will select a random play from this year’s Fringe program, and Gordon’s Big Bald Head will unleash their own improvised interpretation of it on the unsuspecting world! Starring a cast of world-renowned improv titans: Jacob Banigan, Chris Craddock and Mark Meer, with special appearances by Josh Dean and Ron Pederson!

The Harold of Galactus is an improvised superhero comic book, presented by comic geek improv duo Chris Craddock and Mark Meer of Edmonton’s Rapid Fire Theatre. A non-linear look at the entire career of a brand-new superhuman, created on the spot with the invaluable input of the audience! Spanning the mighty protagonist’s Golden Age roots to the “Grim and Gritty” 1980′s and beyond, the Harold of Galactus is a loving salute to the bold and bombastic world of secret identities, hidden lairs, atomic accidents, rogues galleries, and unbridled adventure! Excelsior! ‘Nuff said!

Improvised comedy for kids, featuring your favourite improvisors from Rapid Fire Theatre (Matt Alden, Kory Mathewson, Amy Shostak, and many more), as well as the brightest young imagination wizards, known as The Kidprovisors! Family friendly improv for laugh-lovers of all ages!

THE LATE NIGHT CABARET is The Edmonton Fringe’s late night party show, presented by Fringe Theatre Adventures! Hearts break, sweaters unravel, and life goes on. MY NAME IS JONAS is a sketch comedy show, inspired by the music of geek-rock gods Weezer. Rivers Cuomo, eat your heart out! MY NAME IS JONAS debuted at Nextfest 2011, and is back at The Edmonton International Fringe to rock your horn-rimmed glasses right off! Created and performed by: Kory Mathewson, Colin Matty & Amy Shostak.

Canadian Comedy Award nominated duo, Scratch, return with their second scripted show after last year’s Fringe hit Fairy Tales Scratched. Cops, drug dealers, werewolves, John Malkovich and more collide in Scratch’s spin on the summer blockbuster. Rated R for crossing the line and then shitting on it. Written by Arlen Konopaki and Kevin Gillese, starring Donovan Workun and Arlen Konopaki, and directed by Chris Craddock.
