Having produced world-renowned improvisational theatre shows for over 30 years, Rapid Fire Theatre has become a staple of the Edmonton arts scene, and has solidified its place as a premier nightlife activity in the city of Edmonton. With a loyal following of 18-28 year olds coming to weekly shows through the 10-month season, the demand for improv is huge. Rapid Fire Theatre produces two shows, Theatresports® and CHiMPROV®, and places 2000 posters throughout the downtown and Whyte Avenue areas, as well as colleges and universities, to promote the action, and draw an average of 22000 people over 130 performances per year.
