Originally from Vancouver, B.C., Richard has been improvising since the age of ten. He is a former member of !nstant Theatre (Vancouver), the Vancouver Theatresports League Masterclass, and a former president of UBC Improv, as well as a performer in the Festival Ensemble of the 2006 Victoria and 2008 Vancouver International Improv Festivals. He co-founded with Alex Hudson the historical improv duo History Alive!, and is a proud founding member of the 16-person Pump Trolley Comedy collective. Richardperformed at the 2011 Chicago Improv Festival with Jamie Cavanaugh in their show Olymprov. Richard also works with the Canadian Improv Games as a trainer, judge, adjudicator, and sometimes-referee. He is currently in the final year of the BFA Acting Program at the University of Alberta.
