Brad Fischer

Lighting and Sound improvisor
Brad has been watching TheatreSports since 1986 when he was already older than many of the people involved in Rapid Fire today (Brad is way old). Brad has been part of Rapid Fire Theatre since its formation in 1988, serving as a founding board member for the first few years as well as other activities within the organization, such as providing graphic design for the company, including the design of the Rapid Fire Theatre logo itself, and stage managing the weekly TheatreSports shows. Brad has been in the booth providing either improv sound or lighting, many times both, since 1991. These days he mostly provides tech on the sound side, and mentors new and eager improv techs to replace him when his body finally dissolves into a cloud of dust. Besides his work with Rapid Fire, he is the technical director and resident lighting/sound improvisor for the weekly live improvised soap opera “Die-Nasty”, also at the Varscona Theatre. He is also involved in similar capacity for the monthly variety show “Oh Susanna” hosted by the vivacious Susanna Patchouli, and its predecessor “The Johnny and Poki Show”. By day, Brad’s career is that of a graphic designer and art director, currently operating hs own company, Roaring Mouse Graphics.
